To improve human health, we must protect ocean health. The Issue

For centuries, 人们指望大自然来治疗人类面临的一些最具毁灭性的疾病. It’s imperative that we not only continue exploring potential cures, but also protect these species and ecosystems, and with them, the potential cure for multiple cancers, before they are lost.

  • Reported drinking water violations for nitrates have nearly doubled in the last decade

  • Many of the pharmaceuticals on the market are derived from sea sponges

Discovering and Safeguarding Potential Cures

Understanding Threats of Declining Environmental Conditions to Human Health
